Immigration Reform May Arrive Later This year
President Barack Obama said on Tuesday there is still a chance that immigration will pass in the House of Representatives before year end. Obama indicated that immigration reform remains a top priority. The President also believes that there is only a window of two to three months to get the bill through the House of Representatives.
Obama said he was willing to compromise on some aspects of the bill, but that there must be some pathway to citizenship in the reform. Obama said he believed Boehner wanted to get a law passed.
Many immigrants continue to wait to see what reform will happen, even where benefits are currently available. Why wait for reform, act now and contact an attorney to determine what immigration options are available for you and your family members.
